ANELLI-RINGS
CARBORUNDUM RINGS:
material found in small amounts in some types of meteorite was first found inside the fallen Diablo Canyon meteorite in Arizona. It is very rare on Earth, silicon carbide (moissanite) in space forms an interstellar dust which is found near carbon-rich stars and is supposed to form the mantle of planets.
Its hardness on the Mohs scale is 9.8 (diamond is 10).
In the past, before diamond was roughened, it was considered one of the most precious materials, and was called the "black diamond" or "devil's stone".
* Curiosity is that this material, given its hardness and resistance, was used in robberies to make the famous "circle" in the glass of banks.
